I don't download anything but just go to the website and hit play and it'll stream/play the video from the website. It's a porn site so I was wondering how this will harm/or if it will harm my macbook? and if I should run malware/spyware/antivirus programs like on pc? I don't see any free ones to download.

You don't need antivirus/malware protection for Macs: they are totally unnecessary.

Anyone that tells you to get ''protection'' software for a Mac is either mistaken or trying to sell you something.
well i dunno if viruses can be attached to movies. but if im guessing if the webmaster wants to plant a virus, they would have done so on page load, so you got the virus even before you start playing the video. as long as you dont see as ''install this plugin to watch movie'' then chances have lowered by 30% of getting a virus.
