Today I started getting porn popup advertisements. I haven't been going to any different sites or any sites that I should get them from. Last night my hubby went to ultimate-guitar.com, but I didn't start getting them until today and he said he never gets those kind from that site. I get them after I click to check my mail on Yahoo messenger. I use NoAds popup kilIer and it closes them, but they keep coming back. I also use 3 anti-spyware programs: Ad-Aware SE Personal, Spybot-Search %26 Destroy, and SpywareBlaster. They are all updated, but they didn't find anything. I even ran them in safe mode. I use AVG Free Edition Antivirus and keep it updated also.
Anyone else getting popups when using Yahoo messenger and how can I stop them?norton ghost
somehow these popups are occuring, perhaps from spyware or some hijacker.
being that adaware and spybot didnt find them (best 2)
than i suspect that your pop up blocker may be a issue.
i personally use yahoo's toolbar for pop ups (no i am not plugging them or anything)
i'm not too familair with yours is all i mean
