Do mobile phones gets infected by viruses?

If yes, do explain how it(virus) works and also suggest the free mobile antivirus software for NOKIA 6085 phone

Yes, they do - but not all phone models. Only phones using the Symbian S60 R2 operating system are seriously threatened by viruses. Although proof-of-concept viruses exist for phones using the PalmOS, Windows Mobile and Symbian UIQ operating systems, they have no chances of surviving in the wild. Also, there are no viruses for phones using the Symbian S60 R3 operating system, which is incompatible with and much more secure than the R2 version.

The Nokia 6085 uses neither of the operating systems mentioned above - it uses a proprietary operating systems. The only kind of third-party programs you can install on it are Java (J2ME) applets. The Java security model makes it impossible to write both a virus and an anti-virus program, that's why neither kind of programs is available for your phone.

Regarding how a phone virus works, they usually send themselves to other phones via Bluetooth radio, although some can also send themselves as an MMS (not SMS!) message or spread by infecting the MMC card (not the SIM card!) and waiting for it to be inserted in another phone.
