Avg & Kerio?

I am using the free AVG antivirus download plus Kerio Firewall. Will I need any anti spyware/adware besides this?

you should have at least 1 antispyware program ,i have 3 ,avg covers viruses and kerio is just a firewall so at the moment you have no spyware protection,the first program you should install is spybot(http://www.safer-networking.org/),this is a excellent program and will keep you spyware free if combined with lavasoft adaware(http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaw...

if you are running a genuine windows xp then you will be able to install ''windows defender''(http://www.microsoft.com/downl... will run in the background ,and will inform you if you are infected and will then clean your system of the infection

Add superantispyware and you will be in good shape.
yes - you are covered by a firewall (although I dont know this particular one) and antivirus - but not anti spyware - try spybot search %26 destroy and Ad-aware - both good and both free - a quick search on the net should find them - or just get them from www.cnet.com
I agree with the post on the AVG. It just isn't as good. But its free, so you get what you pay for. There are many reasons, but will advise looking into something that is truly as good as your firewall.
