Im running windows xp and i have the latest avg free edition antivirus. The first time i detected this virus it was healed but then i ran ad aware pro and while it was scanneing the system avg popped up and said i had this virus again can i just delete it or will it keep restoring itself how can i get ride of it

If you're talking about freewares, please try f-secure online virus scan - www.f-secure.com website.

Run the AVG virus scan again and delete the infected file when the virus is detected.

Or you might want to consider getting other antivirus programs that will cost you more, but they may be more reliable than the AVG virus scan in terms of cleaning the PC..

go to microsoft.com and download their new program windows defender..it's great n very reliable
maybe after you got rid of the virus, you visited a web site from which you got the virus again...........
